Tim Murton
Tim Murton has worked to be a multi-faceted artist since his youth. He was awestruck by the floating Venetian Fete parade on the canal in his home town, and his artistic determination was fired after a trip to the Tate Gallery at age 10. But the path to contentment is not always a straight one. After ‘learning the rules’ in a dispiriting career in engineering, Tim was deprogrammed at the Ontario College of Art and Design, followed by a tumultuous 20 years in feature film production. Settled in Elora, Tim is best known locally for his Twilight Zoo monsters.
