Terry Gregg

Terry is an encaustic mixed media artist. This medium consists of beeswax, damar resin and pigment. It is worked in a molten state that requires each layer to be fused to its underlying layer using a heat tool.

Her encaustic works are inspired by nature, rusty found objectsand antiques, and cityscapes.  These elements are depicted in three series: landscapes and localities, musings and urban art.These varied themes allow Terry to explore the many encaustic mixed media possibilities, and photo-encaustic techniques. Shedelights in playing with the challenge of the encaustic medium, which can swim and swirl in unexpected ways.
